1. What is the product made of :
PLA, also known as polylactic acid, is a polyester made through the fermentation under controlled conditions of a carbohydrate source like corn starch, tapioca roots, or sugarcane.
Plants → sugar →fermentation(lactic acid)→monomer production (lactide)→polymer production→PLA→polumer conversion→sheet of PLA for packaging or PLA for fibers etc.
2. What is the shelf life?
PLA products can be packaged in insulated bags as required. The PLA products have a 6-12 month shelf life at least and must be stored below 36℃. Generally in normal temperature environment can be 1-2 years. Do not store in direct of sunlight, or near the heat sources.
